Fees and Services
The Day Care is open Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Children may attend up to 9 hours per day, depending on the needs of the family.
Full time Care consists of five full days per week. Part-time care is less than five days with a minimum attendance of two days per week, with children attending the same days each week.
Tapawingo Day Care also provides a walking escort to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School and Queensdale Public School for both School Age and Kindergarten children.
There are full day programs for P.A. days and holidays.

Tapawingo has opted in the Canada Wide Early Learning in childcare program (CWELCC) which will gradually reduce parent fees to $12 a day by 2026.

We do have a contract with the City of Hamilton, enabling us to accept subsidized children. We accept children from our waiting list as enrollment spots become available, on a first come basis.
