Fees and Services
The Day Care is open Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Children may attend up to 9 hours per day, depending on the needs of the family.
Full time Care consists of five full days per week. Part-time care is less than five days with a minimum attendance of two days per week, with children attending the same days each week.
Tapawingo Day Care provides walking and escort services exclusively to Sts Peter and Paul Catholic school for both School Age and Kindergarten children. We will no longer be offering escort services to Queensdale Public School.
PA Days/Summer Camps
We offer full day programs on Professional Activity Days. Priority for these programs are given to children already enrolled in our school age program.
Our summer camp program is designed for children ages 4-12, offering a blend of exciting activities, creative projects, and outdoor adventures. Children currently enrolled in our before and after program will receive priority registration. Spaces are limited, however additional random weeks may become available throughout the summer.

Tapawingo is participating in the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care Program (CWELCC) which will gradually reduce parent fees to $12/day by 2026.

We do have a contract with the City of Hamilton, enabling us to accept subsidized children. We accept children from our waiting list as enrollment spots become available, on a first come basis.
The Day Care will be closed the following days during the year:

Payment is made for all scheduled enrollment days including statutory holiday and emergency closure days
